Hi, my name is Claire. The first thing you need to know about me is that that’s a lie. It’s a pen name.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s talk about what’s going to happen here. This blog will be about everything. It’s not themed—it’s completely random musings.

My life is crazy. I don’t work a 9-to-5. I’m an entrepreneur who takes care of her kids, husband, and household first. I didn’t choose to basically be a tradwife. In fact, I actively fought that role in previous relationships, but somehow it chose me. That’s a whole post on its own.

I’m liberal… but not that liberal. I’m still a registered Republican, but I don’t vote that way anymore.

What will you find on this blog? I can’t say for sure yet, but here are some likely topics: raising teenage boys and young adult men, supporting each other through mental health crises, maintaining a positive mindset, politics, DIY projects, writing, and real estate sales. Those are the core parts of my daily life. I hate that politics is on this list, but we live in the United States in 2026.

I don’t have any expectations for this blog beyond putting my thoughts out into the world, even if no one ever reads them.
